I made the challenge more difficult by practicing the wrong test and had 10 minutes to learn the correct test, so was super chuffed to get 34.3. Got in a bit of a panic in the SJ and rode like a numpty to the first fence so Watts understandably refused, gave myself a quick talking to and then jumped all clear with 2 time penalties. Finally the XC but Watts was awesome and took control, jumped clear and inside the time. I was gobsmacked, Watts has AF which is a heart condition that means he can tire easily so be inside the time was a real achievement. It was an incredible day and i feel very privileged to have represented this very worthy charity.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
