BE Borde Hill
Well we did it! It wasn't easy but we knew it was going to be a challenge and that's why we did it. Both horse and rider doing their first BE event , it was so exciting and such an amazing feeling when it was finished. 24 out of 36 competitors. As I have said before on the Wobbleberry Facebook site, preparation was the key, I tried to put myself in the strongest position to be successful with clinics, a practice event, combined training and dressage competitions. I could not have done it without the support of my friend and trainer Penny Sangster who was there yesterday every step of the way and my friends and Sister who was an amazing groom! If we can do it, anyone can! My nerves are terrible and Jimmy has never done anything like it too. We have learnt everything together and he has been a loyal and enthusiastic learner. I thought I would never do another but now it's all over there is a small sense of we could do better....... This challenge has certainly got me thinking about the rest of the Summer and what we could do. I've raised almost £350 so feel proud to have been part of the Wobbleberry group and to have contributed to this wonderful charity.Borde hill was a fab event and we all received goody bags and rosettes from the organisers.
