Firstly I must apologise for lack of posts, it has been quite busy over the summer. Anyway had a lovely day stewarding at Offchurch Bury back in July lots of lovely competitors to chat too. Then was called in to fence judge at Pony Cub Tetrathlon at Offchurch which was an enjoyable day if a tad windy sat on top of the hill, watched some super riding and no doubt some future eventing stars.
We went on holiday for a week to Brean in Somerset and took the dogs with us the weather was perfect not too hot. So it was early morning walks on the beach and late night walks with a torch highly recommend as there are so many dog friendly places.
All of a sudden it was September where did summer go? Volunteered at the Autumn Wolf Run at Offchurch Bury then it was off to work at Burghley for SEIB fun ride for the official photographer Julia Shearwood and it was great to see fellow Wobbleberries Lorna, Indra and Rose and of course the lovely ladies with the Willberry stand.
Then off volunteering again this time at Ragley Hall with LandS for arena eventing a beautiful location and it was a lovely day and Cakeberry even got to ride round the course, thanks Liffie for looking after him.
Managed to fit in some riding not a lesson it was such a gorgeous evening we went for a little hack this time on Cookie she was feeling quite lively and even tried it on spooking at pieces of wood and plastic wrapping in the grass verge (cheeky).
So it’s off to Blenheim this week to receive a long service award, lunch in the Malborough Pavillon and course walk with Alex Bragg should be a lovely day, hopefully bump into some fellow wobbleberries and some eventing stars over the weekend. Then back on the Friday to watch some dressage and some shopping. Then Saturday will be spent at Loughborough University to have a look round. Then on Sunday I’ll be fence judging with Cakeberry, busy, busy.
That’s all for now.
