
Nice to be appreciated
5/6/2019 Sitting in the office thinking what has happened since my last blog, well i volunteered at Stoneleigh Riding Clubs 2 day event on the steeplechase phase setting the riders off and helping with the timing (even got to give one of my favourite ponies a cuddle before they started) saw lots of people i knew which was good. Bought a new car, volunteered at The Wolf Run which was great fun as they had their first under 18's run over a shortened course lots of enthusiastic

Time well spent
It occurred to me this week that time is precious and we should not waste it, whether its time spent in lessons or time just being with horses. So what’s the difference between a half hour lesson and an hour lesson apart from the obvious of course! Sometimes a half hour lesson can be just as rewarding and achieve so much in a short time tonight for example, working on transitions again but this time getting them right and knowing when they were going wrong. Completion!
Foxy and I have hung up our eventing boots - we are now officially 'happy hackers' - he is now 23 and I am ... somewhat older. I was SO pleased to be awarded a Wobbleberry Completion Rosette - although we didn't complete our BE80, we gave it a good go, and managed several ODE 70 completions (and placings!).
